Albuquerque’s Photography Tutor

Frustrated by your DSLR camera manual and dissatisfied with prints that don’t meet your expectations? Want better photos that will make you proud to share? I can show you how to move your camera settings off “auto” and create amazing photos. Photography is my passion – if you live in the Albuquerque NM area, consider giving me the opportunity to be your personal photography tutor. Learning is so much easier with someone at your side to explain in simple terms both the “how” and the “why” of confusing photography concepts like the exposure triangle, shooting in camera raw, white balance, depth of field, hyperfocal distance, rule of thirds. and flash guide numbers. And if you’re already far along this road and want to learn post processing photo editing skills but don’t know where to start, I can show you a basic Photoshop editing workflow that will enable you to turn your photos into works of art. My rates ate $25/hour, $75/half day, and $125/full day.  Email or call me at 210-422-0572 to set up an appointment for a free one hour initial consultation.  No obligation if you decide not to continue – I always enjoying talking to fellow photogs, and just maybe I’ll make a new friend!  🙂

Kudos to my student Vicky on capturing this July 4th fireworks photo (posted with her permission)! I’ve been coaching Vicky for the past few months, and I admire her passion for photography, her desire to learn, and her dedication to practicing new skills.  I look forward to continuing to work with Vicky as she continues on her journey towards excellence in photography.

  1. Thanks. Not only are you a great instructor but I love the way you individualized my lessons to what I wanted to take photos of that week, from my new grandson, to my Caribbean cruise, then to my family reunion. Then, after I was done, helping me to edit the photos from okay to wonderful. Thank you.
