INTRODUCTION
Our extended family vacationed for a week in picturesque Salida, Colorado in July. It is a great small town (population about 5,000) location for a family vacation with beautiful river and mountain scenery, good restaurants, shopping, and a variety of family outdoor activities available within close proximity.
